Missing Peaces is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for orphaned children and children living in extreme poverty.
Since 2012 Missing Peaces has assisted Orphans and children living in extreme poverty by suppling shelter, education, medical supplies, renewable energy, love and hope.
Missing Peace's goal is to continue to implement positive lifestyles changes in impoverished communities worldwide and reduce the cycle of poverty through health, education and love.
Lisa, joined the board of 20kwatts in March 2012,on the request of her late son, Ryan Rossi, whose wish was to find a way to help children living in extreme poverty. She is also the director of Missing Peaces whose primary purpose, thru donations and awareness, gives love and hope of a better life, to orphans, abandoned, or physically abused.
Bri Erger grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and graduated from Loras College with degrees in English Literature and Psychology. In addition to serving on the board for 20KWatts and Missing Peaces, Bri currently serves at the Director of Programs for US-Brazil Connect, a Denver-based nonprofit, where she works to provide transformative, international, and cross-cultural experiences for young people in the US and Brazil. Before joining 20Kwatts and Missing Peaces as a board member, she developed a love for service and working within the education system as an AmeriCorps volunteer in North Carolina and serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in El Salvador. These international experiences have helped to shape her professional goals. In 2014, Bri completed her M.A. in International Development at the University of Denver. In addition to traveling for work and pleasure, she enjoys photography, practicing yoga, running, dancing, and going to concerts.
Dylan has spent the past several years working at the grassroots level of development both domestically and internationally. He has evaluated social enterprises in Colombia, conducted outreach for New York City’s Department of Homeless Services, and served in the Peace Corps. It was during his service with the Peace Corps in El Salvador that Dylan first encountered 20k Watts. Together they provided solar energy for the local clinic and 55 households in his host community of Palo Verde. He has been involved with the organization ever since. Dylan will complete his Masters of Public Administration in Development Practice at Columbia University in the city of New York in May 2014.
Juan Baez joined 20KWatts in January of 2012. Juan grew up in San Pedro where he has become an active member of the community. Juan has spent the majority of his life dedicating his time and service to the betterment of the youth in his community. After high school Juan worked at the San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA where he would soon become the Program Director for Youth and Family. He committed his time to working with young people, believing in the values presented to youths at the YMCA like, trustworthiness, fairness and respect. After obtaining a Master of Arts in theater from California State University Los Angeles, Juan would go on to be the Chairman of the theater department at Los Angeles Harbor College, and part time speech teacher at California University Dominguez Hills where along with curriculum, Juan teaches his students that no dream is impossible. Juan is a Puente Project Mentor at LAHC, a program that promotes the educational advancement for first generation college students, and continues to volunteer at the San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA as a Camp Director. Juan maintains the belief that “If you change the world of a child, you change the world”.
Saul, was born in Mexico,in the city of Nogales, Sonoua. He is 43 years old. He grew up in a small town, LA Penita, De Sacagemfa, Nayarit. Saul came to America at the age of 19 for a better life, with the opportunity that wouldn’t have be afforded to him in Mexico.
His family moved to San Pedro in 1995, where met his wife Maria. Saul has two daughters and one son.
Saul joined 20kWATTS in March 2012, and with his knowledge of people living in extreme poverty has made a great difference in our trips down to Central America. Saul has lived the life, so is able to translate the language barrier with the people that 20K Watts is targeting. Saul has the experience of their culture to assist 20K to understand their needs. He is a owner of a successful hair salon, and has used his skills to teach the young adults in the regions visited by 20K Watts a trade so they will have had an opportunity to achieve a better life.
Leo Rossi is a music industry veteran. Throughout his career, he has tour-managed and managed such artists as Fleetwood Mac,The Beach Boys, John Fogerty Diana Ross, Stevie Nicks, Bette Midler, Neil Young and many more. Mr Rossi coordinates all aspects of the production and staff of over 100 during world tours grossing upwards of over a million dollars.
Mr Rossi has an Expertise in entertainment tour coordination. Specializing in tour management and accounting to increase profitability and productivity. Respected industry leader and proactive problem-solver.
Energized by new challenges with the pursuit of excellence. Works well in tense situations while foreseeing problems to lower cost and increase profit. Leads by example to motivate others.
Mr Rossi is very proud to carry on his late son Ryan’s legacy to assist children living in extreme poverty around the world.
